    For the classroom

One click and they start. These are the timers people open most on The Clock.

What is different about The Clock

    A built-in assistant

Type "set a 25-minute timer" or "what time is it in Tokyo?" into the assistant and it does it. You write it the way you would say it, and it picks the right tab and starts the timer.

    Presets

Quick presets cover Pomodoro (25 min), Short Break (5 min) and Long Break (15 min). For anything else, set a custom time, or tell the assistant what you are doing and let it pick.

    World Clock

Ask the assistant about time zones, the time difference between two cities, or what time it is anywhere. Handy when your team or family is spread across countries.

    Productivity tips

Ask for time management advice or a better way to split your work and breaks, and the assistant will suggest something that fits what you are doing.

The timer is free, needs no sign-up, and works on phones, tablets and computers. To try the assistant, open the chat in the bottom right corner and type what you need.

Why use a free online timer

Most of us lose track of time more than we would like. A free online timer and stopwatch help you use the minutes you have, whether you are working, exercising, studying or cooking. Compared with most online clock apps, The Clock is quick to start and lets you type what you need instead of fiddling with settings.

    Workouts

The workout timer handles HIIT, Tabata, circuit training and rest intervals. The stopwatch has lap timing so you can see each round.

    Studying

Use it as a study timer for the Pomodoro Technique. Short, timed sessions with breaks make it easier to focus and harder to burn out.

    Meetings

Use it as a free timer for meetings to keep discussions on track. Time-box each task so the work gets a fixed slot and does not spread.

The main difference is the assistant. Instead of setting timers by hand, tell it what you need. Type "I need a 20-minute timer for cooking pasta" or "set a workout timer with 30-second intervals" and it sets things up for you. That helps when you are busy with something else or your hands are full.

The world clock is useful if you work with people in other countries. See the time in several cities at once, which makes it easier to plan meetings across time zones. The assistant can also answer "What time is it in London right now?" or "What's the time difference between New York and Tokyo?"

    Who uses The Clock

    Home Cooks & Bakers

Timing matters in the kitchen. The countdown timer helps you get pasta right, bake cakes for the exact time, and keep track of several dishes at once. Set timers for proving bread dough, marinating meat or steeping tea. The sound at the end means you do not overcook things, even when you are busy with the rest of the meal.

    Teachers & Educators

A free countdown timer makes classroom routines easier to run. Put it on the board for timed activities, test practice, reading time and moving between subjects. A visible timer helps students see how much time is left and pace their work. Full screen makes it readable from the back of the room. For a bigger visual version, try the classroom timer.

    Remote Teams & Professionals

Check the world clock before you book a call across time zones. Use the timer for meetings to keep video calls on schedule. Time-box brainstorming, sprint planning and presentations so they finish when they should, wherever people are working from.
